The LSS-1 Vanishing Chamber Sample Pump features Welker's unique collection head. This design allows Welker liquid samplers to PUMP the product into the collection cylinder, regardless of pipeline pressure.

OPEN: Product fills the chamber in the collection head.

VOIDED: The collection head is pressed against the opposing flat surface. The chamber in the collection
head vanishes, "pumping" the product past the inline relief and into the collection cylinder. The inline relief isolates the collected sample from the pipeline.

Because sampling conditions vary from one application to another, Welker offers three styles of inline relief for the LSS- 1:

1. STANDARD INLINE RELIEF - for sampling into constant pressure cylinders.
2. EXTERNAL ADJUSTABLE INLINE RELIEF - serves the same purpose as the standard inline relief,
    but may be adjusted if needed while the sampler is in operation.
3. BALANCED INLINE RELIEF - for sampling from pipelines with varying pressure.
    This relief is tied directly to the pipeline pressure and automatically compensates.
