when Bob Welker sought to develop a better control valve for
the gas industry. Welker Engineering Company started in Bob
Welker's garage in Houston, Texas in 1958. From this modest
beginning, Welker Engineering Company's products and systems
have evolved - resulting in 36 U.S. and 15 foreign patents.
Now, Welker products and personnel provide superior service
for the petroleum and natural gas industry worldwide.

| Welker's
manufacturing complex has three buildings with over 60,000 square
feet under cover. Here Welker products are designed, manufactured,
assembled, embodied into systems, tested and shipped.Welker's
machine shop includes 4 CNC lathes, 12 manual lathes and 3 CNC
mills, plus 4 manual mills. The welding shop encompasses 5,000
square feet of space and a 5-ton overhead crane to handle large
materials. An additional 4,000 square feet of assembly area
is part of the facility. Large systems, such as skidmounted
LACT units and specialized equipment, are fabricated and assembled
in this area. |
